Short Summary

RK Powertech is looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee all accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, manage payables/receivables, and support budgeting and tax compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and familiar with local accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and supervise day-to-day accounting operations (ledgers, journals, reconciliations).

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and management reports.

Manage accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely invoicing and collections.

Control cashflow and bank reconciliations; manage petty cash.

Oversee payroll processing and statutory payments (taxes, VAT, EPF/ETF where applicable).

Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.

Implement and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and documentation.

Assist budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for management.

Ensure compliance with local tax laws and filing deadlines.

Supervise/mentor junior accounting staff and coordinate cross-departmental finance tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA/ACCA part-qualified or qualified is a plus.

3–6 years (or specify) proven experience in accounting or finance roles; prior managerial experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of local taxation and statutory compliance (Bangladesh context if relevant).

Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, or local ERP).

Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred / Nice-to-have

Experience in manufacturing or battery / automotive sector.

Experience implementing ERP accounting modules.

Knowledge of cost accounting and inventory valuation methods.
